You will board the beautiful 27 meter long passenger ship “Koningin Emma”, which is powered by a 600 hp engine, capable of reaching an average speed of 11 knots. The boat is fully equipped for entertaining parties and can accommodate 80 people. From the boat you have a beautiful view over the water.
We sail from the fishing port along the terminal, the fish auction, the fishing vessels, the former Second World War U-boat bunker and the nautical control tower. The tour continues past the fortifications of Forteiland (Fort Island), the locks of IJmuiden and the piers that protrude about three kilometres into the sea. It is a fantastic sight to see ships from all over the world arrive at the port.
If the weather is right we will cruise along the North Sea coast while you enjoy the beautiful view from the sundeck. During the trip the captain will give you an explanation about the ins and outs of the harbours and costal area.
This package is perfect for a morning or afternoon trip, combined with a lunch or soup, or coffee/tea and cake.
